A note from the Pres.... (OPBA)
OK gang, please stay tuned to the weather! We are monitoring the hurricane closely. Your primary objective is to secure your home, vessel, and personal belongings! Ron Long and I are constantly working on plans for the Poker Run event next weekend based on the hurricane forecast. Again, you should only concern yourself about your personal safety and protection of your home, family, and assetts. Should the event be cancelled, Ron and I are working on alternative measures. Please be safe, and look for another e-mail to follow with more info. :( Michael Erturk - 2006 President Offshore Power Boat Association P.O. Looks like the track has shifted quite a bit, and predicted to be a bit weaker - both good news.It may be too early to tell, but let's all hope it ends up being a small storm and everyone remains safe and sound. |
