Congratulations Lisa!

Re: New Record For Women At The Shootout
How does a congratulatory thread (and big-time congrats to Lisa Matthews because 154 mph is fast any way you look at it) turn into some sort of "my favorite brand is faster than your favorite brand" juvenile nonsense?
MTIs are fast. Skaters are fast. Fountains are fast. Outerlimts are fast. Cigarettes are fast. Get over it.
Which brand is fastest? Well, did you read the article in PB a few months ago where Peter Hledin gave most of the credit for today's speeds to engines and drives rather than hulls? Is there something we know that Peter Hledin doesn't?
Whatever the boat, 154 is impressive and Lisa Matthews deserves credit.

Let's try to keep this post on a positive note for Lisa. She more than deserves it nomatter how fast she went
Pretty sad that alot of the negative focused people here probably never even came close to that kind of speed in anything in their life, and they have the nerve to throw stones at this girls accomplishments.
Congrats Lisa, we all love ya, and are lookin forward to seeing you run again next year.
