Re: We have lost one of our own - Scott Applegate "Outer42" has passed on
A flash back in time - an OSO post from June 15th 2003:
Original post link: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...ght=justruckin
Congrats to the KINGS of the Hudson Extreme Exhibit & JusTruckin
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Congrats to Jim & Scott for being the first Cat & V-Hull to the Tapanzee Bridge yesterday!
We did our best to catch Extreme Exhibit but the 36 Nor-Tech Perfect Storm just could not catch them. (we needed 2 more engines! = 4 engines)
I think this is how the finish was (race to the bridge):
1. Extreme Exhibit - 50 Nor Tech
2. Perfect Storm - 36 Nor Tech
3. Jim Courtney - 36 Nor Tech
4. Tsunami / Crazy Charlie Racing - 36 Spectre
5. JusTruckin - 42 Outerlimits GTX

THANKS Outer42 (Scott Applegate)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scott let me ride along in his 42 OL JusTruckin in the Sarasota Pkoer run on Saturday. What a cool ride 110 all the way to St Pete 4th boat to the first stop. David, Leon, John were great. It's alot different than running my 24. THANKS

Re: We have lost one of our own - Scott Applegate "Outer42" has passed on
After reading the posts from this weekend I wish I would have had the opportunity to him. The ones who wrote the words are ......well words cant discribe. I think that Scott will rest peascefuly knowing he had the life and friends he did. As said in an earlier post "I hope my friends say the same about me" This is truly a loss to the powerboat community. May Scotts family find peace and cofort though this difficult time. Rest in peace Scott you will truly be missed..........................
