I sold two boats on OSO, a 33 Donzi and a 32 Active Thunder, both for good money and they went to good homes. Now my boat is more economical, no maint., no insurance, no fuel, no breakdowns. That does not help the seller of these items but I always did my own work no matter what it was. I do spend 1/10th less ovrall and that would trickle down. Maybe someday again but for now I can just enjoy boating and do it whenever I feel like it, I can use the same tank of fuel for 3 weeks and I have 75 hours this season. This is the boat but my new one has a 115 Yamaha EFI 4 stroke. Runs like no tomorrow.

For Canadian boaters this must be the best time ever to shop south of the border. A stronger Cdn dollar, zero duty, lower tax and tons of selection make buying a US boat very attractive. Besides we're suckers, we have been paying high gas prices for years, so it will take more than that to phase us.

I once saw 82 mph on speedo.
Usually can get around 80 on any given day.

But having the family out on it keeps my rpm's below the 5000 range for the matter of their safety...
I haven't had a chance to run full throttle for some time now.
Maybe this weekend.... :drink:
