My fist cat help!!
Looking for my fist cat, I have no experience with one, only had open fisherman boats. I heard the skaters are good cats, There is a company in Miami that has the mold of a skater 21, was suppose to sea trail one yesterday but the guy never call, they don’t look bad but I think the 21 is too small. Would like to get a use 24 but are hard to find, anyone know of a company that makes a copy of a 24 skater or a good 24 cat?
Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

There are plenty of good makes available. Make sure insurance is included in your budget for where you are. The rates might be a bit different than the open fish type boat.

Look at http://www.predatorpowerboats.com/home.htm they have a 25 that has the bottom of 25 skater and have a boat ready to rig at your preferences.
They build me a 30 that is on the boatshow if you want to see what there capable of .

I Had a 24 with twin 2.4s. You have to pay attention. and rode like crap between 52~ 60 and then drive through a bit of hell again at 80 ~ 84 then settled in all the way to 106MPH. I tried all kinds of props, trimming, motor heights and setbacks. never could cure it. Im not saying it was bad.. You just have to learn it and always pay attention

If you can get a Skater, I think you'll be VERY happy with it. Great hulls!
