That sounds like the perfect package for a go fast boat! Diesels are the way of the future!

I'd buy it if I could afford it. What kind of cost would that package run?

Buddy , I had diesels in my 257 Mirage before [ it was a promo deal from Merc ] now back to gas . Diesels put my rear down a few extra inches , but my boat is short so no wonder . I'd use a diesel in a boat over 30' any day .

Diesels give a much cleaner look compared to gas

Gas

Cool

The engines were on loan from Merc while my friend worked for Land & Sea in Seattle . He had to give the engines up when they parted from L & S .The twin 250 HP units gave the boat an honest 65 MPH through the Bravo1 X 1.65 diesel drives , which is still on the boat .
I'm happy with the 377's w/Smartcraft though. These engines are pretty happy with B1 26P props .

The good thing about diesels is the fuel no octane issues.

Donzi, we have those issues covered, water, air, bacteria, vapor eliminated, pure fuel flow, no more cavitation or retarded timing as well as increased hp, torque, decrease in noise, emmissions, engine wear, among other things, The new Diesel Fuel Preperator and Raptor Fuel Pump, It will hit the market very soon.

You forgot more BTU's Per Gallon and the off road fuel-pricing advantages also.
