my boat is a 96 Spectre 30 (X Havoline race boat) also the height is 1 3/4 and my motors are 2000 mec promax 300 the limiters are at 6300 and spinning out.

i've heard from a few people that for some reason the pre 2000 30's seemed to run a lil better any truth ?

my boat is a race layup but converted to pleasure. Im running about 100 with 4 blades.

the funny thing, the more i look in the different classifieds the more reluctent i am to sell mine. $65-$70k doesnt buy a whole lotta boat especially in the 100+ mph club

I agree. That's why I'm so excited to get one in that price range. A buddy of mine has a 36 Baja with twin HP 500's. He's lucky to see 75 MPH, if that. Nothing against Baja, a top speed of 75, etc..., but that fact that he's got $150,000+ into that boat and I'm going to have less than half that into mine seems pretty good cool now. Mike |
