Philly Boat Show???
 

Is anyone planning on attending the Philly Boat show at the Convention Center?? The dates are from the 23rd to the 27th. They are offering Free parking and shuttle from Pier 24.....Good excuse to run down the road and hit hooters when finished :)

I was thinking of heading down Sat. just for something to do since i can't attend the A.C. show next month :(

Their convention center is about 20 times the size of Philly's and they have more performance oriented vendors and marina's showing performance stuff
Philly boat show is a ton of bass boats, some cruisers, Dennis and his weird cigarette copy cat Avanti's (down to the paint jobs copy cat)
and RPM might bring down 2 donzi's
Now if you wait for AC, Heh, that is where I saw the Team Baja boat (42 ft) with the matching truck to tow it,
Black thunder was there, OuterLimits had a boat there, Fountain, Sonics (28-31-35) all on display
and vendors from all over gods creation trying to sell you stuff and give you stuff ect
Would not waste my time on Philly,
unless you want a 17 foot 2 foot high bass boat with an evinrude 250 on it LOL
and that weird seat in the front that sticks up 3 feet so it looks like from a distance you have a pole in your ass

just playing, Philly boat show is of no interest to me and my friends, although we are going to get a minivan or something and head to AC boat show in Feb

I wish i could do the AC show, but I'm already committed to doing something else :(

I was just looking for a reason to get out and and grab some beers, pick up some for sale mags, and maybe some new wax or gas powered blender or something. Otherwise it will end up another boring Saturday winter(Eagles aren't on till Sun. :) )

the bass boat front seat was pretty funny :)

Since I got my baja, 2 of my friends are thinking or wishing they can own a boat (one in particular knows nothing about boats in the least but he is a motor head)
Going to see who is selling what used and who knows, maybe upgrade at some point
(still wanting a 35 -40 sonic)
Corsa marine (East coast marine brokers)has a 36 sonic on a trailer with twin 650's for 70 grand - 1986-- I think it is overpriced but looks clean as hell)
I love to prop kick and see who has what, especially RPM down in Summers point, they always have killer deals.
I would go to philly but the one year i went they had NOTHING to look at other than a 22 donzi that did absolutly nothing for me
looked very retro old timer looking and I am into BIG offshore pound some huge waves and make a F ton of noise with open exhaust

Are you sure you cant reschedule? AC boat show is Feb 6th to the 10th
WED, THURS, FRI, SAT, SUN -- cant sneak down during any of these days?
