Guys, I need help with this !

For openers, the owners of 1300 + boats listed in classified, might want to encourage proficiency......increased proficiency may not impress the lender or the insurer or the politician, but it might.....If perceived proficiency makes positive influence on any of those entities, the rates and water may be a little better......Sometimes proficiency is contagious and then, it can even be addictive.

It is said, some boat manufacturers and boat dealers are paying school tuition in return for buying their boat.....That doesn't make a reflection on the buyer,it simply supports proficiency in the boat new to them.

It is also said, buyers of some boats will not be insured until the operator (s) have graduated from an approved boating school, with passing grades.

So again, there must be at least a few of the 1300 + boats (not the seller, but the boat) that wants a more acknowledged operator (s) in the cockpit......competitively,maybe one has to include the tuition like the manufacturers and dealers are doing.....Unfortunately,that might smoke out a few bad engines and drives.

Therefore,we presently have only one choice for a school,Tres Martin....I'm sure his program is excellent....But,one man can only do so much....So,supply and demand says the price is this, take it or leave it.....

Who would make a qualified, articulate boat school instructor, besides Tres Martin ?

Come on,grab the lunch bucket and apple, let's go!

If Tomlinson And Teague Have Probably Tested As Many Different Models, Sizes, Hp's, Etc. As Anyone Else Out There, I Think That They Are Definitely Qualified. Willing To Do It, That Is Another Question With Their Obvious Time Constraints But Awesome In Theory. I Would Go With Both Of These Two. Hammer

My sentiments exactly. While I don't own a boat right now, I'd welcome the chance to learn from these two, arguably two of the best in the offshore world.

Brian and Wilma Ross run a program out of Canada. They have been running Poker Runs for over a decade and been quite successful in Factory-Class racing as well. They are very successful, intelligent and articulate people - exactly the kind that this sport needs.

I'd like to learn from Bobby Moore - he INVENTED the throttleman's position....

Nothing wrong with the other names, although Joey Imprescia's name came up in the Great South Bay Poker Run controversy several years back...
