We have a ways to go with settling out the platinum still, I know you said "be patient" it took 2 yrs to get the 46 sorted out .. were hangin in there. Scotty and I are running the turbine MTI in Vegas and we'll leave the camera's on so you can see how pretty the back of the Bud Select boat is...you'll have to look quickly because you and JT are gone after that. Kind of amazing considering the speeds. I think our OSO family (speedfreaks, like us) would be blown away if they could get some more onboards (with corresponding speed and accel) from these extreme cats. The stern view of Bacadi's kilo in the river is one of my favorites. These two AMF "ham and egger's" will be putting in quite a bit of test time in the off season. Marc |

Re: On Board Vid / Turbine Cat
For the record, John Haggin, Scotty, Marc and the entire AMF team have done an amazing job this year with their turbine boat. No matter what the conditions, they are always there running hard and thanks to Arruda's excellent turbine installation/maintenance abilities they are not pulling motors after every race like the rest of us. "Hats off to ya guys"! Look forward to seeing everyone in Vegas.

Thanks DS. We couldn't have done it without the extreme class's support. And you taken care of our fearless leader :)
Cash/Velocty. A lot of people ask why I like a big steering wheel up close like I have. Like most NASCAR/F1 cars it allows me to make fine, very quick steering movements with more leverage . We could, but do not run a "power steering system" My thoughts are it's better to "feel" the rudder pressures before they bite you. Big steering may look a little funny but for what were doing it works pretty good. Are you guys coming to Vegas? Big Smile Marc |
