Leasetrader.com Any body done this ?

Has anybody tried this ? Where you take over someones lease till its over ? I like driving a diff car all the time and this looks like an easy way to get a diff car every 10 or so months.

You have to have very good credit ratings. It can work out really well for someone like you. Checkout leasetrader.com and swapalease.com . Great thing about is picking up on someones hookup price hehe

Only problem is due to some lease companies, you stay on as the guarantor of your original lease even after you swap into another once. Watch out for this.

Exactly what I was going to say. Years back, a friend wanted to take over the lease on a Honda I had. Honda sent all the forms he needed to complete, credit check, etc., just as if he was leasing the car new. At the end of the day, however, none of that would ever have taken my name of the lease - I would have always been the guarantor.
We decided against it...just in case. That was with a good friend. No way in hell I'd do it with a stranger.
