Re: David Gillmore
Brownie, very sorry to hear about David. One thing is for sure, He was a real boat racer!!! He beat me more than once and then we would have a "few" beers and lie to each other.
May he rest in peace, Pepe @ Pantera. |

Re: David Gillmore
I've been buying all my motors from Dave the past few years. He would always answer my calls by saying "Yes, my son, what can I do for you" He would always tell me to send payment whenever I get around to it. I talked to him twice last week. He did not sound good. I was going to ask what was wrong, but never did. I called today and was told he was'nt in. His assistant Shayna called me back and told me the news. I'll miss Dave alot. He was the best.

I also remember meeting Dave at Abbott & Gilmores back in the 80's. Back then, all the Miami Vice movie Wellcraft scarabs were stored in his racks. He was nice enough to uncover all 4 boats that were used in the movies, to let us see them and take some pics with them.
Did'nt know him that long, but when my wife and I met him, he was like we were long time friends. May he rest in peace. Frank & Lois |
