I test drove the 2005 42 Ex in the Atlantic 2 weeks ago in water bigger than this, 3-5 footers and occasional 8 ft. holes and he flew that thing at 70GPS. But it was rough!

Bigger than that?....those look like 8-10's to me, since pics can be deceiving I'm sure the photographer will chime in.

You said it buddy.

Formula would probably be the best answer in this question, though.

Same mold, not same boat. Not by a long shot. The Baja might ride like a pillow, until it breaks in half.

What does the Baja weigh? What does a Mistress weigh? Enough said.

My next boat is going to be an old Mistress or TG. Late 70's, early 80's.

Had an 03 382 w/ 575's, high 70's, never saw 80. Ran one summer next to a good friend many days w/ stag. 525's in a 42 beaker, 04, low 80's all day. He seemed to run alot better (speed wise) through alot of dif. water than me. I suspect balance and hull 4 that. Fit and finish 2 my boat. Can't speak 4 the Baja. Good luck w/ your search! Wrink
