I am going to plan on a trip today, I have the ONLY boat here that can safely handle this snot, a 20ft Zodiac RIB. I have been out in 12-14s and it looks like we will see a few of these out there, I will take pics. I go alone, I can't trust someone holding on or anticipating the waves and hitting the deck. I will be out after I help winterize a friends boat. I wear a helmet, vest, saefty laynard and I tie a rope to my leg, I fell out once and the big waves were hard to fight and it was exhausting trying to get back to the boat, it kept blowing away. Now I just reel it in :D I have been waiting for this day for weekes now. :eek: :D

Did you get out there to ride the waves Mitch? They're even bigger today, 10'-14'. The NOAA bouy in the middle of the lake is reading 9'+. :eek: :eek:

Those ain't the ocean 20 footers 3 miles apart either. Every one breaking like laird Hamilton is looking for a ride. Last winter had one break right on the deck. Got all wet on that one. This summer one broke against the side of the fairing and I really thought it was gonna break in the boat. Would have been a first. NK :cool:
