Special Thanks To Chicago Powerboat Club - ChiTown, 10X & The Club
Mark, Frank, Candyman & the entire Chicago Powerboat Club,
I just received my pictures from Powerboat Magazine that were taken during your event this year. It reminded me of what a great time my staff and I had attending what we consider to be one of the finest poker runs in the country in what proved to be some of the most demanding poker run waters.
Until you host and run your own poker run you will never know what goes into putting on a FIRST CLASS event like "The Chicago Poker Run".
I want to ecspecailly say thank you to Mark Smith (Chi-Town -What A Fitting Board Name), Frank Holas / 10X the guy you can always count on that last minute to help you or jump in a bilge and the entire club.
It's amazing how many people and sponsors (Red Bull, Formula, Mercury, Jimmy Johns, Link Meat Snacks & all the other great sponsors continue to talk about this event.
To further recognize what you have done, how about the article in Powerboat magazine last month? It was nothing short of spectacular.
We are already making plans for next year and cannot wait to see the video of the event play at this years Chicago Boat Show. Keep up the good work, your TEAM ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!
Regards,
Scott Shogren

Amazing the level that this club has grown to in just the last couple of years. It is a testament to the past and present guys on the board like ChiTown, 10X, Steve, Jamie, Candyman & the others that a new club and new poker run could bring in the heavy hitters like Shogren, Fountain, Reggie, Outerlimts, Formula, OSO, RioRoses, Powerboat Mag, &more to their events. We missed the activities this year and today on my doorstep I found a large top quality duffel bag and tee shirt with the Chicago Powerboat logo, I found out it was part of our membership package I have to say it was a pretty impressive membership gift since I only paid $50.00 in dues. Congratulations on making Chitown a great place to boat and proving it is true "offshore"

Yes, They did a great job....Also, I saw your spotlight in Poker Runs America.
It was cool seeing some of the factory guys attending too.

Our goal was for everyone to have a good time and it was mission accomplished.
Our biggest thanks goes to Shogren Performance Crew for all of your help. All of the members of our club and people that have bought boats from them are extremely happy. Their hard work definately shows.

Scott,
We sincerely thank you again for donating $1,000 of your $2,000 prize money that you won back to Childrens Memorial Hospital and the other $1,000 back to The Chicago Powerboat Club. That was very generous of you, and both The Childrens Memorial Hospital and The CPC greatly appreciated it. We also greatly appreciate your continued support of our club and annual Poker Run.

Jezz guys stop talking about how good it is, people are going to want to sign up now for next year and then there won't be any room for us. I want to run the new boat next year not sit on shore again. Had a blast though and everyone I talked to really enjoyed our run despite the weather. Top notch run for a minimal fee, Thanks to our sponsors.
