Hydraulic trim and a ss prop (labbed by BBLADES preferably mine is) will make all the difference in the world. Thats what we did to the min.

I was planning on keeping this very simple. The prop is about 6 inches below the boat.. I think it's not deep enough. I was told you don't need a long shaft with a boat this size.

Looks like the pin isn't in the bottom hole. Prop is definitely deep enough. Worse case add a transom wedge to give the motor a little more negative trim.

There is one more hole I can move the pin to. When you say add a wedge, where would I put it?

Goes between the motor and the transom.

Search Ebay for Transom Wedge, they're like $30.

Ya I am going with move that pin down. There is NO WAY you need a longer mid section on that thing. If it was me I would put a block under the transom bracket to raise the motor up even more. Get that thing so that the prop is just under the bottom.

Where are you sitting? We always used extension poles into the throttle handle so we could move weight forward. That thing should be a rocket ship though, you'll want to be forward.

Did you check the gear lube in the lower unit before you returned the stuff you bought? :D
