The new steps will be all fully ventalated along with any area that can form a vacum under the boat including the transom. We also needed to go to 1/2 " windshields so had to rework the frame to accomadate it just in case someone stuffed the boat. I also needed to lower the bow so there was better visability when running at slower speeds. Had no challanges with dents in the boat and I ran it all summer in some real crowded places and had to ramp up with a lot of boats many times.

Thanks Wayne

wayne post pics throughout the building of the next one please :D

Cool boat.

Did you ever consider venting via a tube in the engine bay from the step to above the chine on the side or all the way to the deck? I know some other manufacturers have done something similiar.

Just seems like an easy, cost effective way to vent the steps.

And........Can't ever accuse you of having a resin bucket. :p

Hi Wayne,

Never got a chance to talk to you at the poker run but the boat looked sweet.

Any updates on this boat? Is it still running? Long term tests? Have there been any issues with the construction or material?

Hull #1 is in Sweden with a pair of FPT 560's and Arneson ASD8's. The second one is in MA not with a pair of #6's and Blower motors.
