ok, I've got the answer, use Raylars 600hp upgrade with cmi 75hp headers and the r-tech flame arrestor 40hp system and have a 715hp reliable engine out of a stock 496, now how do we upgrade our drive from a bravo??

Man, are they magically delicious or what? :p I haven't heard the one about factory install. Is this info available/verifiable anywhere in print? Merc guy told me the same thing at the FLL boat show. Has to be installed by factory or authorize Merc tech for warranties. I have been told that Donzi and Fountain are offering it. The Donzi dealer here told me that they are getting 6MPH out of the application on the 35 and 38. |

Believe the comment about the pipes being installed by the boat builder(factory) or a certified Mercury shop relates to any water reversion problems.

I have a pair of Raylar 600's in my boat, and went with the Revolution Marine exhaust/headers as the CMI's were not out at the time of my project nor would I have spent the type of money they are asking for them.
