ok, I've got the answer, use Raylars 600hp upgrade with cmi 75hp headers and the r-tech flame arrestor 40hp system and have a 715hp reliable engine out of a stock 496, now how do we upgrade our drive from a bravo??

Man, are they magically delicious or what? :p

I haven't heard the one about factory install. Is this info available/verifiable anywhere in print?

Merc guy told me the same thing at the FLL boat show. Has to be installed by factory or authorize Merc tech for warranties. I have been told that Donzi and Fountain are offering it. The Donzi dealer here told me that they are getting 6MPH out of the application on the 35 and 38.

Believe the comment about the pipes being installed by the boat builder(factory) or a certified Mercury shop relates to any water reversion problems.

I have a pair of Raylar 600's in my boat, and went with the Revolution Marine exhaust/headers as the CMI's were not out at the time of my project nor would I have spent the type of money they are asking for them.
