T2x To control the toe in/out of the drive units. Back in the early 80's we did not have a mechanical tie bar system that worked perfectly on the catamaran applications like we do today. In order to keep the drives parallel through the trim adjustments on a cat application it was deemed easier to fix the drives vertically and use a rudder for steering. |
