Default hull paint ??

what bottom paint would you put on this? it is a 91 hull on a fresh water lake, the lake is reasonably clean, should I use a soft paint that wears away and how often do you have to do that?

Interlux bottomkote, it will last for 18 to 24 months. On that boat you might want to put a barrier coat to help seal it from blistering?? and maybe some Interlux Micron CSC, it's a little more expensive but worth it, it will last a little longer also.

I would paint it white but don't paint over the original Apache sticker on the side...

White's nice , but none of the new stuff is actually 'white' ... more like 'cream' or some other variation.
I would do it Awlgrip's 'bright blue'.

Awlgrip make a killer bottom paint (even for salt water) and the bright blue will make that BW look much nicer .

I have this thing about black bottoms ...oops , is that politically correct

Go with a good ablative .And put on three thick coats that are a different color than what is on there so you can see when it is time to recoat.Easy to recoat just pressurewash clean and recoat.
