Looks clean buddy!! Congrats. I saw that boat at Triton a few months back when I looked at the new 26 OL. John told me about it and said it was very well kept and it shows. According to him the mechanics that did all of the work were top notch and didn't cut any corners. I wish I could have bought it but I'm glad it's going to a good home.

Congratulations!!!

oh yeah, I'll trade you some "tech support" for a ride on that bad boy!

Cheers

Rob

I have the very same situation with the exception that, I bought my Donzi 26ZX with a Float on trailer. The trailer is very well built but, I certainly don't like the way it sits on the "straight" bunks, & the forward bunk has caught the end of the bunk & has nicked the hull a bit. My plan is to replace the steel bunk with a timber bunk, & measure for each step, & place a cut down 2x4 to allow for the bunk. I'm just not sure how this will effect the forward bow supports that are already there. Also, I plan on adding a keel support to make it easier to drive on. I've been told that by doing the trailer this way, I will not be able to drive the boat off, due to the steps on the bunk but, if I just back a bit further in the water; it should allow me to drive it off. Either way, it really needs to sit better than it does. I'll take pics of the mods I do to the trailer. I'm hopin to get it done in the next few weeks. Congrats on the boat, I looked at Fountains, but stumbled on this sweet deal on the Donzi....Not sure if you've heard, stepped hulls handle a bit different...but that's a different "thread" ....Enjoy.

Stepped hull boats require the trailer to be backed in further than a non stepped hull. Gotta float the boat over the stepped bunks.

Ever see a new stepped hull boat owner try to launch their boat the 1st time? Ain't no amount of throttle going to get it off that trailer.
