The Fastest Invisible Boat in the OSO Fleet
Boat/Car model analogies and comparisons ?
After a long phone conversation with BLee today, I realized we use boat analogies in almost everything we discuss.

Like the Gladiator being called the "Viper" of boats for it's lack of space and specialized purpose. I wondered if we were just waaaay to in to boats, or if anyone else did this?

What boat/car associations do you make? What would you called a TopGun in the car world? What about a '51 OL?

What about ......

In my opinion

top gun = corvette

OL= ferrari

Nortech= BMW

I always think of the TopGun as the Cadillac of boats. The Mercedes or BMW would be a step up for some and I would compare them to an Outerlimits.

I always liken the TopGun to a Mercedes SL500.

It's a quality build, decently fast, solid with just a little extra space and can't be mistaken for anything else.

As I said, Gladiator equals Viper.

OL 42' GTX, maybe a nice Aston Martin Vanquish V-12.

The 36' Skater equals a nice F-430 Spider.

The 46' Skater, a nice F-50, same idea, but kinda overkill......

Cigarette is NOT a Cadillac and Formula is more like a gentalmens car which is a Cadillac. Cigarette to me is more like a Ferrari, OL would be the Lambo and Fountain is like a Porsche 997 GT3...faster than the previous 2 mentioned, with a spectacular racing history but at a lower price.

Fountain = Ford Taurus
