Re: Fountain New Kilo Record by Miami Show!
The boat ran mid 80's a couple weeks back with the small engines. Knowing what's going into it, I'm gonna take a guess at 197-198, and that's being a little conservative.
Might know a little more come saturday.:D I'll be with him all weekend. |

Re: Fountain New Kilo Record by Miami Show!
Wow...if those are the projected speeds....
I personally don't see the point in risking lives to attain such incredible speeds out of a v-hull when they already have the record. Its another thing if the record was broken. I hope everything turns out well for all involved. |
Re: Fountain New Kilo Record by Miami Show!
they arent gonna go ballistic even if the boat can...they will bump it up a little, wait a while..bump it up again...its this little thing called marketing ya know.......

Re: Fountain New Kilo Record by Miami Show!
what a thread 14 pages and going strong. I know the date but I cant tell the forum what it is. And the speed is pretty much already determined too. Everyone calm down and wait. The boat runs across the water so smooth at 160-170 you wouldnt even believe its a v-bottom.

Re: Fountain New Kilo Record by Miami Show!
An extremely reliable source just whispered to me that they are shooting for a 2 way pass average of 190 which means they likely will try to post a top speed of 200 but an average of 190. He will be at the Chicago boat show this Sat. come and ask him!!!!
