We had good luck with them. I would not recommend switching to a smaller pulley though.

A buddy of mine has a set in a 32' Skater that he bought new, run's 'em hard, but takes very good care of them. In just over 2 full seasons he's put about 250 hours on them and they have never missed a beat, he did have a trans. let go - but the motors have been solid (and they are bone-stock).

The two that I have, so far, ( 260 hrs.) have
been flawless.

Their neighbors that sit behind them, however, haven't.

why did they make them for such a short time? I have a friend that runs them with chillers on them and it runs stong. I have heard some crap about them but I havnt seen it first hand. My frind isnt a maintanance person at all either and if they hang together for him I cant imagine them being a problem for a "normal" user.
