Discrimination
Yes, I fear that all four of us Four Winns Liberator owners have been unjustly discriminated against. We had a nice little thread going in the "Miscellaneous Boats" section of the owners forum and now its all gone. Then I mention that we deserve a section of our own and the thread disapears. I/we understand that most of you fear the performance of our vessels however, we will not simply go away.

My first boat was a 89 201 liberator with a 350 King Cobra, its in my section on pg 7 of Readers rides, great boat, couldnt break it, had some features that my Fountain and many other manufactures could learn something from, namely an anchor locker, that big beautiful self draining cooler right in front of the passenger, NOT down in the cabin and the stereo within arms reach of the driver......Doug

I was just wondering where that post went. I figured that everyone got uneasy that we were becoming to big and a threat to everyone elses security . In all seriousness what happened to it? Does anyone know.

I don't think your thread was deleted on purpose- there were problems with the board last evening, and General Discussion looked the same way; no topic and no label of last poster on the thread. I was probably inadvertantly lost while they did some maintenance on the site.
As far as Liberators go, I owned an '86 211- that thing was well built, and as twin29 said had features others could learn from. It had the largest cabin in a 21' perf boat I have seen, and that was one of the reasons I bought it.

Thats why we bought ours, a 1993 251. It has more room for the size than anything we looked at and is pretty good in the rough water. Every time I think about buying somthing else I have a hard time justifying it...and that says alot from a guy who likes his toys.
I still think its a conspiracy though...
