The Shootout is no way to judge the top speed of a boat. It's from a dead stop (or almost dead stop in some cases :D ) to top speed at the end of a mile. Many of the boats at the Shootout are set up to get the fastest speed in a mile, not top speed. Two totally different types of top speed.

So the fastest the Callan boat has ever went is 208? So David Scott has never had anything left in the tank at the end of a run at the Shootout? So the 4 engine Big Thunder boat never went faster than 150? That is all it could get to at the Shootout. :rolleyes: Like I said before, the shootout in no way shows the top speed of a boat. Period. So I guess if we shortened the Shootout to a 1/10 of a mile and a MTI is fastest, then the MTI is the fastest boat?:D

U are getting closer but SPEEDRACER has been 151 on the bump box, MTI IS THE FASTEST!!!!!!!!!

151mph on stock 525's in just unbelievable, no doubt that has to be the winner. does anyone know what the total weight of sr is and the tunnel width. I assume it is a full carbon boat, Does'nt it have merc 6's on it also, even more impressive.

First Of All Speed Racer Didnt Run His Race Boat At The Shoot Out His Race Boat Has Never Been In A Kilo Shoot Out It Was His Poker Run Boat That Reggie Beat That Went 151 At The Shoot Out Those Other Boats May Have Gone Faster But Not A Record. Records Are Recorded Not Rumors And Skater Owns The Shoot Out Record Not A Mti And That You Can Look Up In The Records Enough About Records
