Now Its A New Year And That Same Boat That Held That Record Got Beat At The Shoot Out By A Skater And If Speed Racer Was So Fast Why Didnt He Run It At The Shoot Out

There is absolutely nothing official about any runs made at the Shoot-out. It's for fun and bragging rights.
Boats use a short course set-up to achieve their highest speed possible for a one-mile, standing start race.
All of these boats would be going much faster at the end of the next mile if the room was made available.

You Know Your Absolutly Right And Im Just Bragging Cause We Were The Fastest And It Takes Setup And A Good Trim And Throttle Man To Go Fast At The Shoot Out So Dont Take That Away From Callan 208 Is Not To Shabby

I agree with you. BUT the top speed of Callan is not 208. Like I said, the Shootout is not used to determine top speed of a boat. And yes, the Shootout is not a sactioned event, so the speeds do not count for any speed records, just bragging rights.
