sell it to your dad . chucks to old for any kind of go fast boat anyway so i figure the cc would be just right for him. you know what they say once you start taking the blue pill the go fast days are over.

You might try listing it on here. It's part of Florida Sportsman magazine online. I think it only cost about twelve dollars or so to list it.

CRB:

I own a dealership in Southwest Florida. By far, our most effective advertising, for our own new boats & trades, as well as our consignment boats, is the drive by traffic - we get 200,000 cars past our store every day. That translates to alot of eyeballs.

Our next most effective is currently print advertising like the Salty Dog, or the Boat Trader magazine. We get alot of exposure from the Boat Trader online but we don't sell as many from that venue.

In our particular case, the sellers receive a better price and pay the 10%. The local buyer is getting the benefit of buying from a full service facility. The buyer is more comfortable buying from us where they can compare a number of boats, and bring it back for repairs if they run into a snag. This information comes from our pre and post sale surveys.

To cut this long-winded essay short; I suggest you locate a full service dealership with a highway location that gets lots of visibility. You will get more eyeballs, your boat will sell faster, and your buyer will be happier.

I need some thoughts and insight here. I want to sell my 328 SCX Glasstream Performance CC. I am looking for suggestions on the best way to sell the boat. I have placed it in Boat Trader, OSO, and Ebay. I got no calls from Boat Trader, 1 from OSO, and about 20 from EBay. Unfortunately there are a bunch of tire kickers and wholesalers who showed interest from Ebay. I am now thinking about listing it with a broker. Do any of you know of any good brokers who specialize in performance CC’s.

Thanks,

Clark

Dear Clark,

I am interested in buying one Glasstream now. I would like to know how well does it perform on rough water conditions and the reason why you want to sell it. I am interested as well for buying it.

thanks

Leonidas
