Ideas for mid 20's CC
 

I am looking to buy a good all around boat. It will primarily be used for cruising and rafting up on some of the gulf coast islands much like I do now in my 22' Donzi. I would like to have the open space of a cc as well as the ability to fish when I want to.

I have come real close to buying a 28' Baja CC and a 29' Fountain CC. I am still kicking myself in the a$$ for not buying the Fountain because I could have had a great deal on it. I did realize though as long as the kids are younger I am better off just a little smaller in the 25' - 27' range.

So far in that range I have ridden in the:
Donzi 23 zf it was pretty cramped
26' Scarab Sportster, is probably at the top of my list

Still considering but haven't seen up close or been for a ride:
25' Concept
25' Baja
26' Solid
27' Glasstream

I'm still open for suggestions or opinions on those already mentioned.

I did see that one and it looked awesome. It is out of teh price range I wasw considering.

I guess I should have added I do not want to exceed $40k. I know it will be close on some of the models I mentioned.

That is one that's on the list. I need to call on one I saw an ad for. It's difficult finding those preowned.

There was a 1998 302 Scarab with twin Merc 225 Opti's for sale right off I-4 just outside of Orlando. Asking price was $45k.
