No apology needed. I knew where you were coming from with that comment.

Any idiot with a remote control in his hand should know why Reggie and his company is force-fed to us during this particular boating show. I`m no Reggie fan, but I realize that without his advertising dollars I wouldn`t get to see any of these boating shows. That`s how media works. . .

The Mercury connection helps and Reggie at many of these events covered by the show is a big name. Often times bet his name is the biggest name in attendance and he often has news to talk about as well. With my own marketing my main influence is Pepsi and Red Bull. The latter is doing something with airplane racing, that I eventuelly want to try with offshore!!!!!!

The topic has been discussed here at great length in the past.
I agree, I wish they had a wider variety of boat manufacturers on the shows promoting the sport.
I'm not a huge Fountain fan, not that I think there is anything wrong with them, I simply prefer the lines of of the classic Mistress, And prefer a boat with that "look", or some of the modern variations of it.
You have to admit though, Reggie does a pretty good job of explaining some of the things a newer performance boater should know about running, and caring for a performance boat.
Certainly some of the things I had to learn on my own with my first boat, after coming from growing up on small cruisers.
