Default outdoor storage?

I have always prefered indoor storage, but with the mooring cover on Im not too concerned about outside exposure....and I will save some money. Anybody had any serious issues keeping the boat outside in the open?

Be sure you have a full cover to keep dirt and debris off it. If it's stored outside in winter snow you'll have to build a wood support system and get it shrink wrapped or use some other cover. Snow will collapse a cockpit or whole boat cover and probably tear it or worse in the process. Also you should jack the trailer up to get the tires off the ground so they don't sink into the ground.

Moisture can create mildew especially where the cover and upholstery come in contact.
Get some wheel covers from an RV shop.
Make sure your cover is secure, or the wind will beat the cover into your paint job.
Make sure stern is lower than bow, so water runs out when it rains.

I wonder if the local sea ray boat dealer(they always have shrink wrapped boats sitting around) can shrink wrap it? Or factory only?

Just about anyone can shrink wrap it as long as they know what they are doing. Make sure they don't use too much hear over the cockpit, as it can melt the interior/vinyl. Its also important to have vents installed to not trap in moisture.
