Opinions on the Neutra-salt system?
Just wondering, has anyone used or had any experiences (good or bad) on the Neutra-salt corrosion prevention system for marine engines?

I've in stalled the system on several boats. Seems like a good easy way to flush your motors, better than just flushing with fresh water I would imagine. I guess time will tell how effective it is combating rust and corrosion. Fresh water cooling is the most effective and you don't even have to bother flushing.

Re: Opinions on the Neutra-salt system?
Same concept as the Salt-away/Star-brite hose attachment thingy, but it's permanently mounted and electrically "injected". I personally don't like the idea of still using salt water to flush the engine.
I'd bet all the salt-neutralizing chemicals are the same (Salt Away, Star-brite's product, Neutra-salt, etc). As long as you use fresh water and one of these, that's probably the best you can do short of closed cooling. And even if you go with a complete closed system, you still need to flush the heat exchanger regularly (every time?).
