SJO (San Jose) is the closest airport. Less then 15 min away.
I just booked a flight it was $380 round trip.

To tell you the truth, I haven't been there yet. I saw pictures and a tape that was made for me. My partner and the consultants have been there a few times. I'm looking forward to seeing it. We are doing the layout for the second floor this weekend. There is going to be a stage in the middle of the floor with tables all around it. There are going to be small vip rooms as well. We are adding craps to the second floor as well as the first. There will also be some black jack, caribian stud and 1 roulette table on the second floor. The first floor is gambling, the resturant and bar. No "entertainment" on the 1st floor.
We are going to have some state of the art stuff.
Our chips have micro processors in them. We can track the chips at all time. We can see what's in play, what leaves the casino etc. We are adding 80 of the newest poker/slot machines. They all have touch screens and take money from different countries.

Here is a link to one of our new managers. He is one of the brightest casino guys in the biz! We are very lucky to have him. He is currently taping 2 shows a day for his new show coming to CBS.

Just reading this post as I am just back from Colombia, I just took the 6:15 flight from Bogota, since I don't have my boat anymore I have been traveling, mostly to Costa Rica and Colombia, I know where this place is and walk by it on the way to the hotel el Rey.

You don't have to answer this but what does it take to buy/invest in a casino? How much funds we talking about?

$1M,,,, $20M, $50M? Would the casino need to have a couple mil cash on hand for pay-out etc.? Sounds like a BIG investment! :cool:

It's a not a very big Casino and it needs renovation. I was very fortunate to have my partner let me in on it. There was no way in the world I could have bought 3% let alone 25%. Put it this way, I offered to sell or give him my MTI as a small portion of my buy in but He didn't want to deprive OSO members of all my weekly incident stories! :D When we talk monthly nut and break evens I get sick to my stomach, literally!! When we talk potential profits my head spins! Come to think of it, maybe I'm getting the flu! I am very greatful to be envolved and couldn't have done it without him.
