Costa Rica has a fair amount of tourism and it is one of the most stable and prosperous countries in Central America.

It's been a long time but they may even use the US dollar these days??? Similair to El Salvador which trades the US currency now so there isn't any more centavos etc. It made things much easier.

Good waves too!! My family was planning a trip down there in July but I'd rather be boating then so we're still trying to figure out what we're going to do....
