I am not here to smear, just to make sure the buyer makes an informed decision. While the truth is not always easy, I would appreciate the same candor in return.

If someone can point me to a thread that clears up my doubts on PowerPlay, I'll remove my questioning comment.
The fact of the matter is that ANY BOAT CAN BE DESTROYED IN WATER!!!!! Cigarettes, Powerplays, MTI's, Skaters, etc.... have been destoyed in water and can happen at any time. WATER is UNPREDICTABLE, not like a race car track that never changes. WATER changes all the time.

By referring to the last Powerplat incident.....it looks like "driver error" (tabs all the way down and tucked all the way in) could have been the reason of the incident. You can't hardly make a decision by this recent accident.

I removed my comment regarding one of the above mentioned brands, as there is not enough data to show a production problem.

Happy shopping.

Dave,

You have every right to your own opinion...........you just can't jugde a boat from 1 or 2 incidents because water is so unpredictable. Especially ones that are racing, that is a brutal sport!!!
