Those headers were glowing a weird color. I thought that they always glowed red/orange not white/blue.

I would think the headers were too small for this motor?Blew off the tail pipe in one pull:p
The rumor:rolleyes: is that CMI made the headers for the boat ,are the largest that they have ever made!!

I've never seen headers turn white like that before either. But then again, Never saw a 1718HP motor either.
