I live here in So. Fla am am not board for a second. There is alot of good suggestions on here, but some of them are lame or don't exsite anymore. Bootlegger's is no longer, it is now Caribbian Bar, but still can be fun on weekends. We have lots of Poker Runs coming up, contact Stew at Fla Power Boat Club.
SoBe is always fun, day or night. Gulfstream Park is now open, great concerts on weekends, plus the best horses running.
Hope to see you at boat show, E-mail me and I can introduce you to alot of fun people.
Hey, Tito's at Cigarette is just around the corner. I know you know him.
He always know's where the fun is!
P.S Key West is only a few hours away.

Michelle- The only real places I know to really ride are in Northern FL or West Coast kinda, Lakeland, Wellington, Gainesville...but I'm sure you can find something...Hope things work out for you there and if you really get stuck, I have some pretty decent contacts down there that can help you out...

RiverGirl, I just moved to Miami a few days ago and have found two great places to find things to do. Miami Lifestyle is a great magazine, that has everything from the hottest places to eat/ drink to the best shopping areas and outdoor malls. Also, check out Miami.com, which has links to some really cool places. Have you been to Coconut Grove yet? Great place to hang out for the night- bars, shops and usually outdoor entertainment. I still need to put the boat in the water, but haven't even missed it yet- been busy exploring Miami. The best thing to do is to just get in your car and drive. The drive from Southbeach to Lauderdale has so much to see and do, that you could spend days just exploring and checking out the different areas. If you need any help, email me: [email protected]

RG -- Consider yourself very lucky. I was in Miami in September and just loved it. If I had to move from where I live now, it would definately be the Miami area. For great Cuban food try the Cafe Versailles in the heart of Little Havana. I know, it sounds like a French restaurant but it really is Cuban. Delicious.
