Cord,
Hopefully you can settle with the insurance co. soon for a "reasonable" agreed upon amount, THEN, you off to the worlds of Cats for you!! Something to think about is, if and when you Dee decide to get rid of your next boat, (Firehawk, or Warlock) the Warlock will be name more widely recognized and therefore a little more easy to move when/if you guys do decide to sell it.
Just food for thought, good luck in your choice.

Hi Cord, I know you said you were looking at a 25', but here is a link to 31', and with the strength of your dollar, you are only paying 60% of the price. It's a 1986 with twin 600hp 525's in it.

Good luck

Looks like a 1996 me. You think a 1996 31 Warlock is worth $248,000.00? That would be the price if the $148,000.00 asking price is only 60% of the value. Asking price seems a little high to me. Now if you could get it for 60% of the asking price....

So, you finally sold it, huh? Glad I have pictures. I'll never forget THAT day!
Hope you find something else so you can come over and cruise with us again. Just don't get something Too fast or you'll be cruising alone.

Uh, that thing is like a hundred grand more than what I'm spending! That boat is more than what my house cost! Oh, yea it's Canadian. Even then 60k (which appears to be a good price) is way too much.
Hey Mac, it's been a while! How are you doing? Do you have pics from that day? I don't have a single one, and sure would like to have a copy if you can spare 'em. Maybe you could scan them and e-mail me a copy.

Hey Cord,Blue lightning Marine has a 26 ft Firehawk with a 1100 hp motor and a #3 drive in it.It runs around 110-115 i think.I know they are wanting to get rid of it pretty bad, dont know how much they want for it.They would probably make you a good deal on it.I think it is a 1996.I seen the boat and it is not in bad shape at all,i know the old owner and he took great care of it.It might be worth looking into.It is on a trailer. Here is the number for Blue Lightning Marine

$149,000 Canadian Dollars=$93,142.47 US Dollars
Looked like a good deal if the motors are fresh until I went to NADA.com, they said $56,000.
I think they are a little low?

NW-JIm, you're right, it is a 1996, I just wish we could convert our dollar the way you did it.
Jim, I just re-read my first post and yours, I sort of see the confusion now. I didn't mean that $148K was 60% of the asking price, I meant that our dollar is only worth 60% of your dollar, therefore you only pay 60%. Sorry for the confusion.

Barb and I bought the Searay in Hamilton Ontario. We waited about three weeks for the exchange rate to swing a little bit better in our favor. Got a good deal on the boat AND on the exchange rate.
