32fever, (Mark) In what way did you get "snubbed"? Just curious.

The fun thing to do is to take the Am Trak train...it leaves from Grand Rapids at about 7AM or so and arrives in Chi-town at about 11AM. We can get on board there or in Holland...it stops in St.Joe too. It later departs from Chicago at around 6PM. It may be a little more expensive but that way no one has to drive, you can get up and walk around, rest rooms, more room/comfort, can cat nap if you desire, the seating arrangements are much better, better scenery, no cops plus they have a snack bar and it's just TON more FUN!

Mark, how much we talking? BUT, 6:00 seems a bit early to me to be coming back.

I took the train from Milwaukee one year just for the heck of it and I told myself NEVER AGAIN. I have driven every time since.

My take was that the train station in Chicago was not within walking distance to the show so needed to get a cab :eek: YIKES on the cost to go 3 miles !

Lastly, you are bound in town until the train leaves and usually you schedule yourself plenty of time to get to the station in time (another cab ride) and then wait, and wait for the train to depart.

If you guys leave at 6 and arrive at 11, thats 5 hours on the train :( . I would hope in Mitch's suburban and road trip it.

Are you guys going to make a serious effort to all hook up afterwards? I was going to just play the show by ear but if you guys are all going to hang afterwards I'll put in an appearance and have some suds with you all. :D

So far, yeah that's the plan G. We'll get more solid as the day approaches, just like everything else we do. Last minute!!
