I canot find the website for this.
I am in dire need of the dates this will be held this year.
If anyone knows, please post asap.
I am at work and filling out this years worth of vacation time. I have 184 hours to disperse and I want to make the most of it.
SO please post the dates or website so I can find this out tonight if possible.

I'm pretty sure that the Shooutout is always the weekend before Labor Day. Don't have a calendar in front of me for the exact dates. Hope this helps.

You should REALLY try and do the back to back weekends of the Shooutout and Labor Day. That is what we did last year with Jawbreaker couple and it was a blast! :cool:

It would be a great vacation for you and a great prize for me, of course!! ;) :D LOL!

MissAmy, I am planning on back to back weekends for hte Shootout and Labor day :)

Just not sure how the cost factor is going to be :(
Need to look at options of lodging as cheap as possible. Was thinking about staying on the boat a few nights during the week inbetween or maybe leaving the boat at a trustworthy place and maybe running to KC or St Louis fora few days during the week.
That is an expensive motel bill for 10 days

well hugh....if we still have our place down there, we'd be more than happy to let you use it during the week. We are just there on the weekends. It has really nice docking facilities. The water there is a little rough, but during the week it is much calmer and not too bad. We have had some nibbles on our condo though, so I can't promise you that it will be available.

Or if you decide to cruise on up to KC during the week, let us know and we can finally buy you that famous KC Barbeque! :D

Friends of mine own a marina if you need a place to keep the boat. I rent a slip in the state park sometimes for the weekend. Close to party cove and great parties at the docks at night.
