newby needs help w cowling grommet
howdy everyone
new here and i aint sure where to post this. but i have an old stlye light weight merc cowling that uses the circle type riggin grommet. these are NLA from merc. i was told that the new oval ones would work with some carving. but man those things are $25 bucks each. i just hate to give $50 for 50 cents of rubber. does anyone know of a substitute grommet that will fit? if so please leave me a part number and a link.
