Here's that same beautiful Apache trying to keep up with our 36 Outlaw. :evilb:

Wow.....can you ever see the similarities in THAT pic......

I'm a proud Baja 36 Outlaw owner and our boat has served us very well.

It is not fast, and it is NOT an Apache. Having had the please of riding in RHC's 36 Apache I can tell you that there is a big difference. His boat is rock solid and you do notice the difference in construction.

With that said, I did not buy my boat to run 100 MPH, or I would have bought a different brand. But if you want a sharp looking boat that rides very nice and handles safely then you will not find a better value then the 36 Outlaw.

Hey buddy, hope you are doing well.

Not sure if you are aware of this, but the mold that the 36 Outlaw come out of was built by Cigarette. They did not do anything with it and sold it to Force 10. Shortly after the purchase Force 10 had a fire and this mold was outside and survived. They sold it to Baja and the 36 Outlaw was born.

I have rafted off the 36 I pictured first with the big power and he is stern heavy. His bow is about two to three inches higher then mine. I do know that he runs in the 90's and I have NEVER witnessed any adverse handling from this boat. There is no chine walk to drive through. He has also had his hull blueprinted if that matters.

Hey Dock, all is well, hope you and your family are doing well also, both Baja and Apache make a great 36, that look alot a like. Apache has a set back cockpit, Rogers is the later modle with the biger cockpit the pre 1995's have a 6" tighter cockpit.

I have heard some say the 36 Baja was a splash from a Cigarette. However when I look at a Baja and Cig hull I see a much different bow profile. The Baja bow starts going up to the nose much sooner and the Cig is more blunt. Also a Cig has no pad and the strakes are bigger and much sharper and so is the transom edge.

FYI - the 36 Outlaw does not have a pad either. True V.
The 35 does have a pad and also a notch in the transom.

John,I was on your 43 with Wayne, hell of a boat. The 32 Maximus that worked so good for you were mine.I hope you enjoying it.

:D I tried to get Wayne to get you to sell me those props - they were perfect. The ones I have are close, but not quite the same.

The 35 Outlaw that Hawkeye has hit 101mph with 700's, via Baja. However I don't think the dealer has been able to get it to hit more than high 90's? Don't quote me on that though.

I would guess 850's might get the 36 to the century mark

104 at the factory and 102 at the dealer. The dealer took it for quick run before it went to paint. They will probably tweak it a little to try to get more speed.
