Unless it warms up a lot between now and Friday I doubt if there will be a lot of boats out... In Tampa, about the only boat friendly bar is Rattlefish Bar and Grille - but I would not expect a lot of boaters there on a Friday nite this time of year. If you are around on the weekend, make your way across the bridge to Gators - good Saturday afternoon hot spot. Boat rentals are lame at best, but can be had at Tierra Verde High and Dry - maily beater deck boats...

Not sure if I'll be around this weekend - have an opportunity to do the Islamorada Florida Powerboat Run with a friend... feel free to call me when you are in town (813) 7652086

Also agree with Gators though for a boating spot. I always have at least 1 lunch there when I'm down for the weekend.
