Default Konrad Marine's new 800SCI debuts in Miami

We are pleased to announce that Konrad Marine has teamed up with R-tech Performance/Sterling Engines. The result of these efforts is a new 800 hp engine package that should deliver 200+ hrs with nothing but basic maintenance.

The engines will be assembled and dressed at Sterling with R-tech's latest design center-mounted single centrifugal Vortech blower and low restriction three stage Supercooler.

R-tech Performance has spent countless hours on the dyno with the project and has put together a very stout combination of components that yield 800 hp at only 5200 rpm. Since the R-tech system utilizes a centrifugal supercharger, the long block is in a very mild state of tune and idles like a stock 525 Merc but pulls like a freight train at WOT.

The R-tech/Sterling 800SCI will be teamed up to the proven Konrad Ace drive system to provide a level of reliability that is much needed in the offshore powerboat market.

That's a sweet looking setup Kurt.

Best of luck with it. Should be a hit.

I really like the R-Tech system and it looks like they have overcome the tall clearence problems requiring scoops on boats like mine.

Kurt,

That package is STOUT. It is very impressive in person, the profile is incredibly low compared to the old technology roots systems.

I'm glad to see Konrad really stepping up to the plate in the performance market like this. Coupled with the un-paralleled reliability od the ACE Drive this should prove to be the best engine/drive package in its class.

What's next a 140hr 1075?!?!?
