If your looking at headsets try these http://www.piratecom.com/
They are getting great reviews from those using them and apparently are one of the most inexpensive set-ups on the market

hopefully this will save me all the e-mails and phone calls I get about these.
this is the wireless set up that we use on the OSO boat. It is custom programmed so I can hear my vhf or talk to others in the boat.
Several members that have seen them in person have ordered them. They have a 1/4 mile range and can be used for launching the boat, docking, testing from the shor, or running wires around the house, etc.
I bought them from www.racingcommunications.com. Tell them you want the ones like they gave OSO. Their service was great and I cold not be happier with the product.
The right finger in pic 1 is touching the push to talk button (when you are running) voice activated other times, the box clipped to his t-shirt has the vhf button to talk to other boats. You can also just get the headsets and talk to one another with no vhf, stereo, etc options.
They run on AA batteries and the batteries last for a long time.
