If a Konrad fits a TRS then Can you use a Konrad Gimble to replace a TRS?

If a guy needed to save some money and needed to replace a gimble, could he use a Konrad gimble and put the TRS back onto that gimble since TRS gimble parts are getting scarce? Just asking in case I need one in the future.

I thought the Konrad only fit where a TRS once was(same size hole)....not that the two have interchangable parts.

I could be wrong

Yes, you can bolt a TRS up to the Konrad transom assembly but you would need to retain your TRS drive bellhousing. (same bolt pattern, different oil res coupler)

Cool idea. Then get a drive later if needed.
