I agree on the 25 yrs.
I think there might be a few that slip in there that are a little younger, or were still in production, but 25 is a pretty good benchmark. It was the mid-80's when designs both hull and cosmetic seemed to start changing from what I remember as the "classic" offshore years. |

Right. The avanti is an 85 but i do not consider it a classic because

I guess classic is a legend that has a manfacturer name attached. A proven hull. Even if limited production for whatever reason. Old School - I'll let you all define it. |
