Trim Pump Problem

Does Anyone Know If Keikeffer Pumps Differ From Drive To Tabs I Have A Drive That Wont Go Down Without A Little Coaxing I Switched Pumps With A Tab Pump And It Works Fine I Was Wondering If The Valves Are Different For Tabs And Is There Any Adjustment On Them

Dog,
Spring size/pressure on ball check valve in valve body may be different, but I've used various pumps kiek./merc./prestolite, etc interchangeably before. Check with the pros just to be sure. -Jeff

Make sure you fill the sam oil as is on the other drive/tab. If you use a thinner oil, the tab or drive goes much faster up and down and that's a pain in the ass if you have one button on the throttle lever to run both drives simultaneousley.

i believe the pumps are the same if they are the old style kiek......

the only real thing that can go wrong is the solinoid

While we're on the subject,
What weight oil goes into K-Plane reservoirs and what weight oil goes into drive trim reservoirs?

Also check to see if they are operating off the same battery.
