Exclamation Looking For Fuel Pump 861156a1

Seeking a fuel pump for my 454 mag mpi, mercruiser part # 861156A1. I've checked everywhere I can think of, & NOBODY has one in stock. I know that just the pump is not available anymore, even though I have found folks that normally keeps them in stock, but they are out for at least the next couple of weeks. I am willing to buy a "known good used one" if anyone has one for sale. I'm really trying to get this before next weekend. If anyone has or knows someone with one they are looking to sell, please drop me a line, or feel free to give me a call 228-596-4891...Thanks, Rick

See bulletin below, have one in stock, call us if you need it....
The fuel pump for the Gen II Cool Fuel System is no longer available as an individual
component. The pump will now be available only as part of a Pump and Cooler Kit, which
includes the fuel pump, fuel cooler, and hardware. Three kits will be available, and the
applications for each kit are described below.
The various coolers are not interchangeable, therefore, be sure to order the correct kit for
the model and serial number of the engine being repaired.

integral water drain port and has a cross bolt to retain the fuel line to the fuel cooler outlet

I have a used pump I bought a few months ago as a takeoff. Not sure if it's the right part number but I ended up having to buy the entire fuel system. (everything was missing from the motors when I bought the boat). I'll check it tonight and let you know the part number. I know it came off a 454/502.

Wife just called so I sent her out to the garage to get the pump. No part number on the pump but it came out of the cool fuel system that is port side block mounted that is common on the 502's (and probably the 454's). From what I've researched this is the same unit and part number your looking for. I bought it with the entire cool fuel system and ended up using parts and pieces of those brackets. I had this pump on my motor for just a few hours but removed it when I lost the motor (this pump was the only used item I had on the engine). Turns out 2 of the injectors failed and that was what ruined my motor but I had already replaced this pump as a just in case (I too had to wait some time to get a replacement). If your interested the pump listed for $244.00 How about $100.00 plus freight and it's yours.
