I think they very good. We dont own one (yet) but have crawled around quite a few and they're a great boat. They may not be finished off like some of the other cats, but they are just as well built. For the money, you cant go wrong. Also there has never been a claim on a Motion so you can get insurance and it's not bad at all for a cat. Give Larry Goldman a call if you havn't already. He most likely knows the boat your looking at by he rigged 95% of them out there.

Sweet boats. I have talked to Randy Sweers about them and he has a lot of praise.
I personally like the lines very much.
Here are a couple that were on a poker run we did and they caught my eye.
I hear the new ones are going to be even better.

Looking at a 30 or a 35?
I have a 30 Motion O/B and I am extremely happy with it (bought it 2 years ago this coming August). Rides great, performs well and was put together well. No complaints at all. My prior boat was a 29 Fountain. Loved the quality of the boat but hated how many days I lost to boating because of "mild chop" in the bay - that changed with the purchase of the Motion. 2 weekends ago my wife and I stopped in at the restaurant/bar next to our high and dry and saw a few friends who had come over from St. Pete in a 33 Outlaw. When they saw us they asked if we were going out, and cautioned us that it was "really choppy" and not a pleasant ride over... well, we went out and had no problems at all. The 30 Motion loves a 2 - 3 ft chop - gets up and rides on top.
